National Chiayi University actively promotes resource recycling and waste reduction policies across all campuses.  In 2023, the university produced and collected a total of 83.565 metric tons of paper and plastic waste, including 65.558 tons of paper waste and paper containers, and 18.007 tons of plastic waste and PET bottles.  Compared with 2024, the recycling volume showed a steady increase, reflecting the university’s continuous improvement in resource recovery efficiency and sustainability management.
