Campus Setting

The main campus - Lantan campus is named because of the northwest of the campus surrounded by Lantan lake. This campus is located in a suburban area with a high rate of forest covered and belongs to the distract East in Chiayi City. 

Linsen campus is also belongs to the district East and Sinmin campus belongs to the district West, urban fringe of Chiayi City.  

The main campus, Lantan campus, is named because it is surrounded by Lantan Lake in the northwest. This campus is located in a suburban area with a high rate of forest coverage and belongs to the East District of Chiayi City. Linsen campus also belongs to the district East, and Sinmin campus belongs to the district West, the urban fringe of Chiayi City.  Minsyong campus is located in a suburban area of Chiayi County. The population density of Chiayi City and Chiayi County is 4,368 and 252 inhabitants per km², respectively, in 2024.  Luliao Village, where the Lantan campus is located, has the smallest population density (289 inhabitants per km²) in the eastern district of Chiayi City.  Both of Sinmin and Linsen campuses are located on the edge of Meiyuan and Taiping Village in Chiayi City, with population densities of 5601 and 7849 inhabitants per km², respectively.  The population density of Minsyong Township, where the Minsyong campus is located, is 1351 inhabitants per km².  Whether it is on the suburban or urban fringe, the transportation of each campus is quite convenient.
