The organic waste treated in 2022
In 2023, the organic waste treated from Chiayi University mainly came from the following five sources: edible oil, food waste, paper, dead branches, wooden waste, fallen leaves and other plant waste. Due to the large number and extensive plant area of Chiayi University, the analysis chart above shows that fallen branches and leaves are the senond and third sources of organic waste at the university. The primary source of organic waste is paper. From this data, it's evident that there's still room for improvement in reducing the amount of paper usage. The treated organic waste is 99.125 tons. The treatment rate for organic waste is 99.47%. We have made every effort to ensure that organic waste is appropriately and thoroughly treated according to its specific characteristics.
